Staffing and Facility
The Executive Director is an exempt position that reports to the President of the Board of Directors. The Executive Director represents the Board when it is not in session to ensure that board policies and goals are being correctly implemented by its committees. The Executive Director is a non-voting member of the Board and Executive Committee, and ad hoc member of all other Committees. This position is supported by a full-time Administrative Assistant.
The ReStore is staffed with a full-time manager, a part-time manager and a part-time associate. Many volunteers assist with customers and store operations. Two part-time construction managers oversee the building sites and volunteer work crews.
All other staff is volunteers. This includes additional building site managers, most construction crews, home owners, and dedicated community members. These volunteers are the heart of the Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity.
The office and ReStore of the Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity are located at 315 S. Blackcat Road, Joplin, Missouri 64801. The office is open Monday thru Friday, 9:00 to 4:00. The ReStore is open Wednesday thru Saturday, 9:00 to 4:00.
